Originally founded in 1967, Hunan Province Hengnan County Songbai No.2 Chemical Factory is located by the side of the beautiful Xiangjiang River, a mountain-backed and riverside factory, which has superior geographic position. The distance from it to the city center is 20 km. There are Hengzao Freeway crossing the city, Jingzhu Freeway connecting the south and north of it and Jingguang Railway running through it, as well as the advantaged water carriage along the Xiangjiang River, so the transport is very convenient.

Presently, there are 280 employees in the factory, 5 of them are senior engineer, 12 of them are engineer and 40 of them are professional technical personnel; the factory has the annual production capacity of 5,000 tons of "Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate", 2,000 tons of "Zinc Sulphate Heptahydrate" and processes 2,500 tons of "Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate and Zinc Sulphate Heptahydrate Particles", it has the annual production capacity of 4,000 tons of "Zinc Oxide", 3,000 tons of "Zinc Carbonate Basic" and 3 tons of "Indium" and the factory's annual output value is up to RMB 100 million.
